For Five (5) months or so I've been looking for some Authentic 1903-A3 Smith Corona Parts. I managed to scrouge up all but the Handguard Ring and the Lower Band with sling swivel (preferably with original screw-unstripped).
I've posted these 'wants" on the "Old"
Jouster![icon](autolinker/images/link6.gif)
forum and on this forum. I've also posted on the
CMP![icon](autolinker/images/link6.gif)
Forum, watched eBay and G-Broker and Gunshows without any success.
I've also contacted some 'well-known' members of the Jouster forum without success. I shower daily and shave three times a week and have offered 'top dollar' for the parts.
I'm aware that SC parts are a bit on the scarce side but I can't believe that with all the CMP releases in the last few years that I haven't been able to locate these remaining items....

Chuck - If you find them at the show, grab them for me please and I'll square up with You promptly!!
My SC has all Remington stock metal (90% + condition "Blue") forward of the receiver. I haven't diassmbled anything yet because I want to wait until I get the last two pieces. (Handquard Ring and lower band/slingswivel with screw.)

I know what Chuck is talking about regarding never having the parts you need, when you need them. I got a nice M1922/M2 .22 stock with some parts I was selling. I sold the stock for a nice amount and had it all boxed up ready to go. The next weekend I bought a M1922II rifle which needed a stock! I couldn't afford to pull out of the deal because the amount I earned from the stock sale was a good share of what I was using to buy the rifle!!

(Fortunately, another nice stock showed up a few weeks later!)
