Here its my collection of Portuguese M64 webbing. This system started to be used in 1964 during the Ultramar War in Africa that lasted from 1961 until 1975 in Angola, Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau.

The system borrowed features from the Britishicon pattern 37 like the design of the large pack and haversack, from the British pattern 58 like the large pack mounting method in the harness and belt, from the US M1936 like the hooks used to fix elements to the combat bel andd the design of the first combat belt that was almost a direct copy of the American pistol belt and from the US M1956 like the canteen, cup and carrier pouch.

The most original design features were the use of simple web loops to fix pouches to the combat bel and the use of good quality carabiners to fix various gear.
