Seller says:
A M1 Springfield Garand 30/06 Manufacture date appears to be December 1943 as by the sereial number 22*****.The wood is in nice shape and is a very nice matching dark set with only one small chip by the rear hand guard right by the clip.(You can see it in the last picture)The stock has no markings at all.Comes with a couple of Enbloc clips.
This gun has a nice bore and is very good shooter and looks good to. The gun is at my dads place since I am at school.

1946 rebarrel, post-war rear sights and a post-war trigger guard. Definitely a post-war rebuild (as most are).
At $850, I'd be more inclined to get a nice HRA or IHC from P&S.
