    Whoa... I THINK it's a WW1 Squad cleaning kit for 1911s

    Gang,

At a estate sale I found what, when I googled, was a WW1 squad cleaning kit. Only had 5 rods and one round container but the metal box is in excellent condition.

So, is $40 bucks a ok price?

    Thanks,

    Deaf

If it's " If I spend $40 can I make money breaking it up and selling these loose ? " , then yes.
If it's " Can I buy this and fill it up with loose purchased parts cheeper than buying a complete set ? " , then no.

Ok it has 5 of the cleaning rods and the brass can for grease. Wooden interior for the rods (so it's a early one.)

What it needs is the oil can, five more rods, and the set of screwdriver keys.

A Complete one goes for over $500 in some cases but more like $300.

On Ebay they have the brass cans for US $24.00

    Rods are 15 bucks each.

    Oiler is a $50 item.

The tool go for $12 each! Ten would be $120 bucks!

So I dunno... I might just slowly fill it up or just sell it for parts!

    But I did get it.
