Ishapore MkIII forearm
My Ishapore .303 has a forearm that is warped/twisted. The nose cap leans againest the front sight post. The warping/twisting starts just forward of the lower band. Has any one seen this before? Can this be fixed? It is a nice peice of wood although I don't know what type.
regards,
Chief

Hmm, I've "adjusted" the nose cap on one or two refurbed No1Mk3 that had a similar problem. I've simply widened the gap between the two nose cap "ears"; mind you the extra room needed wasn't much, maybe 1/64th of an inch.
