Hello!

I am a 63 year old combat veteran and former law enforcement officer,now retired.

I an proud to be an American citizen AND patriot.

I am a member of many forums (i.e. flyfishing,shooting,law enforcement,and others).

Never before has any of my posts (on other forums) been locked nor greeted with such animousity.

It is unfortunate that my post,celibrating what I feel is the proper response to
negative statements about America was so poorly received here.It was not intended
to bash any other country,just to applaude what I thought was the pro-American
answer to an anti-American statement by a foreign official.

For what it is worth,I think comparing the French attitude toward America today
to their attitude of 1778 is as wrong as comparing the German attitude of today
to that of 1942.One must deal with the attitudes that exisit today,not those of
the past (ever been through a divorce?).

Obviously my opinions,and that of this forum,differ.

I joined this forum,thinking that my years of experience and experiences could
contribute in a worthwhile manner.

Sadly.this does not seem to be the case.

It seems this old dinosaur has wandered into the wrong neighborhood.

I do not intend to say anything offensive about this forum.I wish everyone
here the best and "God Speed"!

That's unfortunate and yes, your experience will be missed partner, however, this issue has been discussed dozens of times, plus the mandate and purpose of our site is clearly explained in the Forum Rules (click here), which you agreed to when you signed up.

Our apologies that our site focusing on the discussion of old milisups did not meet your expectations and we wish you better luck using other sites which offer political commentary forums as well.
