T W 54 AP M2 Ammo Corrosive?
Gentleman just as the title asks. I have a partial bandoleer of T W 54 AP M2 that I have no idea where it came from or when I got it. This isn't something I would have purchased as I only recently bought a Garand. I found this at the very back of my ammo locker. It seems to be very clean and well stored with no round corrosion or rust on the clips.
Now where I worked I was known as a firearms enthusiast and shooter so when a guys dad or uncle or so forth would pass away I was generally gifted with whatever they had laying around after the estate was dispersed. I can only assume this is one such item.
Back to the questions at hand,
Is this ammo corrosively primed?
This is armor piercing ammo?
What manufacturer is T W?
Am I correct guessing this was made in 1954?
I assume it's Garand safe as it's id'd as M2?
Thanks in advance for any responses.
