    Unknown Receiver Sight

This is one of the first sights to follow me home from a gunshow. I have been wondering for over thirty years . Who made it and when? can anybody help identify this really neat 1903 Springfield sight? The windage is a push pull system, the elevation is adjusted by loosening the two screws on side plate.

Appears identical to a Williams mechanically. I think Williams is a copy of the Lyman. Maybe an early prototype? Any markings on it at all?
