Real M14 stock or a bubba job?

Any feedback on this? It looks to me like a butchered E2, but I'm no expert on M14icon stocks.

Dunno but it actually looks pretty good to me.

I do not know if it is real. One just like it sold at the last Devine Auction for over $3000.00

All the E2 stocks I've ever seen did not have a skeletonized butt or that hand hold on the front. I'd bet this stock is a newer version maybe. I'd pass on it.

The stock folds to the right side, as well.

The stock looks like a modified E2. There were five designs of folding stocks developed and tested by Springfield armory. The side folding stocks folded to left, not the right. The pistol grip on the folding stocks were a separate part from the main stock. The foregrip was used on the E2 stock, but I have not seen it on a real folding stock. IMHO the stock at best is a BUBBA job on a E2 stock that may also be a repo.

Is it possible that this stock was made for or by a foreign country for their M-14s?

I don't know, but it appears to me...

...that the sling swivel on the hand grip looks to be a government installation, rather than a "Bubba" modification. Which government - who knows? Just guessing... Karl
