I’m excited to get cartridges built for my recent RTI 1870/87. The 10.4x47 cartridge seems pretty straight forward except for the heeled bullet. Mine is a Torino built in 1888. It has the updated “smokeless” powder load sight. Turened out it is in great condition and bore is very good. Appears not shot much. Finish is mostly gone above the wood. No cracks, no rust. It just had many years of dried oil and crud. It matches well with my 1889 Ordinance 10.4 revolver!
