    Lithgow bayonet

Just got this 11-41 Lithgowicon bayonet with a scabbard that both sides have stitching. How common are they?

The double stiched scabbards are pretty uncommon made from spare off cuts I have a 1921 Lithgowicon 07 bayonet and a date matched Lithgow Dble stiched scabbard so fairly rare they are I was lucky as this was part of a deal one falls into by fate as the bayonet is serialed the same as its unfired (and still is, I know it would have been proofed and sighted but general usage no) 1921 Lithgow No 1 Mk III rifle which is still a bit gunked with cosmolineicon.
As the rifle has no FTR stampings anywhere I can see the barrel is still a 1921 (pulled the top woods off to check this date) no marks on the bolt same ser as the rifle as is the nose cap and so on with no usage marks on the bolt face nor the mag floor plate or bolt race the only thing the bottom fore wood and two top woods are still in the white are rough and unfinished and having been replaced for some unknown reason.

Anyway bloke the Dbl stitched scabbards are a reasonably rare bird and well worth keeping well done
