Source of bullets to reload Tokarev 7.62
I'm posting this for a friend not online.
He has a Tokarev in 7.62 and while he says he's had great fun lighting up the day and night with the muzzle blast created by putting C96 Mauser rounds through it, he's keen now to reload his 7.62 brass.
He has asked me to find out:
1. Good sources of bullets in that calibre
2. Loading data recommendations
I will forward any and all advice to him. Thanks in advance and happy holidays.

M1 carbine bullets will work or cast them up yourself. Just a note that these short thin neck cartridges are a PITA. to reload.

Some die sets assume you're reloading .308 bullets and may not have a flaring tool included. The lee flaring tool I have is pretty useless(bullets start crooked and bulge the case neck). A lyman or rcbs m type expander-flaring tool helps the bullet start better. Debur inside and out, even on new brass. Loading for .30 mauser(broomhandle) and .30 tok(CZ52) both with worn rifling, a .311 bullet works better, but requires an expander to match. Many available jacketed bullets are .312, could cause necks to jam in cylinder and cause dangerous pressure. Some seating dies won't properly centre and guide the bullet straight into neck, require switching or doctoring). I use .32 84 grain soft cast(95-5), sized .311 with a card wad for no leading. Linotype bullets leaded terribly. Lots of work and experimenting, but worth the bother. Good luck
