First Post and 03A3 Advice
Hello, this is my first post.
I've recently come into an 03A3 which appears to be in pretty good condition. I've started doing a little research on it on M1903.com, but I could use some advice on it - if I can figure out the photo posting tutorial. But for now - hello.

Note: After you click on images to ENLARGE them, you may find they automatically size smaller in your browser's window making them harder to view. The auto sizing is your browser's way of keeping images entirely within the screen size you have set. Move your mouse pointer to the bottom centre of the pic and you will see an options panel appear. There will be a small square box next to the large X, which will have a pointer arrow sticking out of it. If it's illuminated, it means the pic you're viewing can be enlarged, so click on this box and the pic will EXPAND and open to its normal size.

nice looking rifle, youll get better info here then 1903.com.. only thing i can see wrong? stacking swivle is on backwards, and a replacement lower swivle. RP is Rochester Products, however they were a known supplier to Remington.

Also, the aftermarket front sight blade. Looks that way anyway, hard to tell.

Thanks. The previous owner also had a Winchester Model 70 that he bought in 1955 or so.
Is there any way to tell when he bought this from CMP
?

this part of the forum isnt really ment to fill your pockets, there is a sell and buy section, may want to post your rifle in that area.

Sorry, Chuck, I didn't mean to skate by the rules. The thread was meant to help me establish value for a sale, and I didn't make that as clear as I should. I tried to edit my 24 November post, but it's past it's due date. Please remove it for me, or delete the reference. Thanks.
