    Guin Show Report

The Michigan Antique Arms Collectors Show was last week end. Several contributors to this forum showed up. I had three tables of items to flog. Not as many Enfield items in the show this time, though there were still a fair number of related items. One dealer had a P-07 Mole bayonet for $200.00(!!!!) and a Remington P-07 for $150.00(!!!), but it did include a P-08 frog. The few Enfield Riflesicon there averaged $200.00 to $300.00. The No 5 carbines were actually reasonable at $300.00 to $450.00. The $450.00 was an absolutely mint 1947 Fazakerley. One no. 5 was being flogged at $375.00 with a bayonet included(bayonet was a repro).
I picked up a couple of restoration projects and several sights, one of which is pictured below.
I was not familiar with this sight, it attaches to a No. 4 the same way the Parker Hale sight does, and as a bonus, the screws were included!!

Did not know Lyman made a receiver sight for the #4's. Would like to get my hands on one!

I haven't seen one of those sights in years, nice find.

Did the nice 1947 no.5 sell? If not, any idea who the seller was? I am in the market for a nice '47 Fazakerley.

No, it did not sell. The dealer was set up right across the aisle from me, do not have his contact information.
