The Emma Gees by Herbert McBride
I was delighted to find McBride's book, the Emma Gees on Gutenburg. For those who do not know about the Gutenburg site, all books on it are free It has been around a spell, and the books are available in several formats including PDF and Kindle. McBride also wrote "A Rifleman went to War" the best book on sniping in WWI.

I tried to download A Rifleman went to War from your site. But all I got was the book cover. I have owned the actual book for years and years, but I would love to have it in PDF format for my office computer and my Kindle.

I just clicked on the PDF file to test it..
It downloaded fine for me, although it is large at 223 Mb in size.
So, I don't know what the problem is that you are experiencing ...

I don't know what to say ..
I just checked it again and it's fine ...
I'm on an Apple Macbook Pro, so I'll check it on a Windows machine running Internet Explorer, although I don't know why that would make any difference...
I assume you guys are clicking on the PDF file entry and NOT the smaller pic of the cover?
Regards,
Doug
Edit: Ok, I just checked using Windows machine running Microsoft XP and Internet Explorer. It works fine. I "right clicked" on the large book cover pic and clicked "Save Target As". It's a 223 Mb download, so it will take some time unless you have very high speed Internet.
