Been looking on E-Bay for awhile at these versatile vehicles and have a complete "newbie" question. Of all the interior pix I've looked at, I've never seen a brake pedal. Either I'm bat-blind or missing something obvious, so how would one stop one of these trucks? All I ever see is a throttle pedal to the right of the steering column and nothing else...

Forgot to come back and post a pic, hopefully someone who's driven one of these can tell me how the driver would stop one w/o a visible brake pedal? And yes, every interior shot has the same floor layout...
First of all, I've never seen one of these as far as I know, much less driven one. However, I did find video of one being driven while searching on-line for a linked drivers' manual. Watching the first few minutes of the video made me wonder even more if it has an automatic braking system. That is, the brakes come on if the engine speed decreases.
Well, this Figure 1-24. Brake System surely shows a foot pedal, but I'll be d#mned if I can find it! Looking a bit further, it seems to be well-hidden behind the steering column, so THANKS!
'Well-hidden' it is. That steering column and the pedal's location would really bugger those people who have only every driven an automatic and use the right foot exclusively for the accelerator and their left foot to work the brake.
These things are a bargain right now, too bad I only have a 1/4 acre suburban lot! Ive looked at land from 25 to 75 acres, but the wife won't have anything to do with country living...
