    14 Regiment Bersaglieri during WWI

I know this isn't rifle related but I recently found some information on my great grandfather. He served in the Italianicon Army during World War One. The only thing I can find is that he served in the 14th Regiment of Bersaglieri under General Pecori Giraldi of the First Army Corp. I know he served in Northern Italy and some interesting war stories he passed down but that is it. I know there are some members from Italy here or are very knowledgeable on Italian military history. Its hard getting info compared to the USAicon which was easy to get my grandfather's military records. Any info would be helpful or some push in the right direction. Thank you!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. They have fought on Monte San Michele, one of the worst places on our line until March 1916. Until then they were part of the 29th Division. On March 11th, 1916 the 14th Reggimento Bersaglieri was constituted. In May 1916, during the Strafexpedition, they were transferred to the front of the 7 Comuni, Altipiano di Asiago, where they remained (or thereabout) until they were united with the 20th Reggimento Bersaglieri, forming the IV Brigata Bersaglieri in March 1917.
They saw quite a lot of action, typically, for our guys, always looking upward to the enemy.
    Very difficult job.

Wow, thank you guys so much for the information and leads. I've been trying to get his military records from the Italianicon government but apparently you have to get them from the commune where he was born. Its a very confusing process. He died before I was born and only shared a few stories from his service so my family is trying to piece together his story. Thank you so much for your help
