G33/40 at Brock's - $1899.99 U.S.
These G33/40's are hard to find. The last one Brock's had went for $4,750 U.S., but it was a beautiful "righteous" piece with a matching bolt. The bolt is miss-matched on this one, but it's still a nice looking vet bring back example.
Brocks - GERMAN G.33/40 MOUNTAIN CARBINE, 945 1940 (click here)
Specially designed lightweight rifle for mountain troops using a small ring receiver, lightening cuts in the bolt and receiver and slim, tapered barrel. Made only at the Brno works from 1940 thru 1942. Scarce rifle.
Walnut stock. This rifle was a WW2 souvenir and has a 'duffel bag' cut under the midband. Has been epoxied allowing for cut and reinforced with a tube down the stacking rod channel (precludes use of a normal rod). A rod section has been fabricated to look similar to what it should be.
Original blue finish has not been cold blued and still shows authentic wear. Stock with original finish, sharp marks and has not been sanded or abrasively cleaned..
All numbers match including handguard except for the bolt, which is a correct G.33/40 bolt (1261c). All of the bolt parts except the body are unnumbered replacements. The safety lever is a CZ marked one, correct for a 33/40. Original sight hood.
Certificate of Authenticity Included
BUY - $1,899.99 U.S.

Now thats tempting. IMHO a good deal, and it probably wont be up long. Sadly I dont have the cash, but if I did I would likely be maileing him now. May be a high pirce tag, but in just a year it will guarenteed be worth millions more.
