    pics of my original parkerized 1917

    Attachment 29090Attachment 29091Attachment 29092Attachment 29094heres is what i belive to be an original parkerized Eddystone 1917, bolt, screws, trigger, follower, sping, sight ect, are blued..the rest is dark parkerized, 8-18 barrel, nice stock marked 3K, cant make out the stamp under it, bolt and stock numbered to the gun, bolt is the only non E marked part.
    said that Remington started to phosphate finish about Sept 1918..

    Do you have any pics of the muzzle end or with the hand guards removed? I ask because I have two eddy barrels that I would like to compare to it.. The first is dated 10-17 and I believe was refinished/parked post WWI.The finish is not quite polished except where the front sight base was and looks blackish/dark brown. The other is dated 11-18. Finish is about the same but the color resembles more of a brown color/plum brown.

    not really interested in taking the rifle apart again, less buggering on the screws the better, ill be happy to take another pic of the barrel at the front sight area.
