    Ten Minutes to Buffalo

Ten Minutes to Buffalo, by Ulrich Steinhilper and Peter Osborne,

True story of Ulrich Steinhilper a Luftwaffe Me109 pilot shot down over Kent, his story of of his capture and his attemted escape from Canadaicon.

I mentioned it in another thread but been a long time since I read it, ordered a copy on amazon, and havent put it down since, an excellent read.

He also wrote another book " Spitfire on my tail " the story of his early years from joining the Luftwaffe.
