I visited the site and was impressed with the m1buddy, so I ordered two, one for me and one my friend who is also an m1 crackpot like myself.

Those are quite sturdy little items. I've had one for years, long enough ago they were five or six bucks when I got mine, and it is still in quite serviceable condition. Their home page barely mentions it, but they work just as well with M14/M-1A. Good stuff.

Mine are orange in color.

Actually.........it was purchased for my M1A.......but, it can be used with the M1 too.
