The BAR M1918A2 carrying handle was adopted at the end of WW2, but it would be difficult to find
a WW2 photo of the BAR with the handle. Most of the BAR's used at the start of the Korean War were
without the carrying handle. I have seen some burned fingers from those BAR barrels without the handle

The first BAR bipod was adopted in 1937 and used on the Model 1918A1 BAR
