Swiss luger 1906/1920 maybe rework?
I bought last saturday a swiss luger 1906 with no military markings but german proof marks (N) the side plate and the dissamembly lever has other numbers than the rest of the parts. U-sights. A siwss luger 06/1920 shoud have the letter i, but there is no letter on my luger 06?!? The holster is from 1906.

That serial number indicates it is a Swiss 1900 luger from 1904. I am not a Luger expert by any means hopefully someone can come along and provide more details.

Luger 1906/1920 rework have serial numbers from 2000-3600. I live in Switzerland know swiss lugers. The toggles on the swiss 1900 are completely different than the 1906
Swiss luger 1900

More pictures. There ist one picture with Geladen (Ladestandsanzeiger i don't know the english word for it). Another picture shows the number 51 instead of 19 underneath the dissasembly lever.

If its a 1900/04 would it have the dished toggle assembly? This seems to be the later 1906/08 toggle? People here have always under rated the 7.65 Luger round.

The 1900 has the small grip safety in width as well. Mine has the larger variant of it from the swiss luger 1906. A 1900 swiss luger in good condition is around 3000 swiss francs or more in my country if you want one.
