    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     Frank I wish it was mine to display, it is at the Springfeild Armory Museam. A friend was at the museam and took the picture and sent it to me and I wanted to share it with you guys.

    JimF, I don't know what they are asking, but don't pay it - thats a fake... the bluing is wrong, the font on "springfield" is not right, the wood looks like it was sanded, the finish looks too smooth. looks like there it was reparked because there is no wear on it. I bet the seller tells you that it never left the Springfield Armory until now! Geez, some people will try to pass anything off as genuine! Oh, sorry ... that happens shen I forget the little blue pills in the morning...


    Seriously, that is impressive. I doubt I will ever travel there, but if I am ever in that area I surely want to stop in and drool at the history. I understand that the museum area is really well done, not only with the actual historic weapons, but they way that they are presented to visitors.
