    Smile New Colt 1011 Purchase

Hi, I just purchased a NIB colt 1911 SN 4186WMK. I know this is not an original period pistol, but can some one tell me what I have? I paid $600.00 for it. Thanks is advance, Bill Hughes

If it in fact new ,.... at $600.00 you got a great deal (steal) lock it in a safe. You got a WWI 1911 reproduction model, which should be the Carbona blue finish. let me know hen you are ready to sell it! I have a 1918 repro with the black oxide finish.
