Talking Who was this used by any info on the marks would be great:

    ENFIELD BAYONET:

ONE SIDE MARKS: APPEARS TO BE A CROWN LIKE AN AUDI CAR SYMBOL THEN THE LINES TO MAKE THE CROWN SHAPE UNDER THE CIRCLES. UNDER THAT IS THE DATE 12 ' 07

OBVERSE: THE ENFIELD SYMBOL LIKE A FLYING BIRD, UNDER IT IS E F D, UNDER THAT IS ANOTHER CROWN (DIFFERENT SHAPE) OR A BOOK WITH NUMBERS 88 OR 58 OR 5B UNDERNEATH IT, THE CLOSE UP PIC LOOKS LIKE 58 AND IT ALSO LOOKS LIKE 58 IN MY LOUPE. DIRECTLY UNDER THE 58 OR 5B IS A C. THEN LOWER DOWN IS THE X SAYING THE WEAPON IS OK FOR BATTLE.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED, ID LIKE TO SELL THIS PIECE AND WILL LIST IT ON HERE ASAP

I can email pictures, but cant get them to load on here

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... It's actually not very difficult and is well documented here ...

To learn more about about how to handle pics, please read this thread in the Q&A - Help Forums, which also appears as a "sticky" thread at the top of every forum on the site.

How do I upload pictures to my posts for storage on milsurps.com? (click here)

Some public hosting sites are awful in how they support giving out to the user web links, which they can use to post in threads on bulletin board sites like ours. As a registered member, you can use our own site here to store you pics in the Member's Photo Gallery (click here). Once you store you pics there, it's a simple matter of using the IMAGE code we give you to cut-n-paste those pics into your personal posts here.

If you still have problems, email them to me at badger@milsurps.com and I'll resize them for you, then post them in the appropriate thread you want under your name

    Regards,
    Doug
