bnz45 Kriegsmodell...
Hi guys,
I went with a buddy to a gun show on the west coast of Fl. over the weekend. While we were waiting in line we saw a guy trying to sell a Browning HP rig his uncle had brought back from WWII. My bud did some negotiating and managed to snag the pistol. The seller then volunteered that he had a Mauser rifle and some other things at home. He gave us his phone number and told us to give him a call when we finished walking the show. Well after spending a few unfruitful hours cruising the aisles we gave him a jingle and arranged to meet. The rifle turned out to be a bnz 45 date in the “T” block , all matching with a pristine bore and a stock that had been inexpertly varnished. The metal parts are mostly phosphate with some blued ones mixed in. Here are some pics.
Best regards,
Len

Nice find! Very late GI bringbacks are uncommon. Good for you.
