    Western

The 8" blade Western "Fighting Knife" has to be one of the most beautifully finished U.S. knives. The blade is a mirror polish deep blue finish.

Johnny, that is a beauty. Congratulations and a great acquisition. The issue knives are rarely found with a high polish like that.

The blueing Western used is brilliant -literally!
That's a very nice example with a scabbard to match.

Are the rivets (& snap) on the scabbard blued, as well Johnny?

    Thanks for sharing!

The rivets and snap are painted black.

I have had this one for a number of years. I looked for a while before I found one with finish that good.
