Colin, Have seen the matching scope for my rifle so its a step closer, I just need to send mine off to a Bloke who has done a few in his time for a clean bill of health and bring it up to the standard as the matching one.

Well done Colin, good work. I hope now to help Valley Sniper with the provision of one or two parts to restore 249C. He purchased the rifle from me a few years ago; I let it go as I have one other 90L rifle that is fortunately matched to its original scope.

I had promised him to get the slightly butchered Canadian bracket from the Indian rifle of mine, so the parts seem to assemble....
