Thanks guys! Indeed Jim that is a 1:6 mini. I build models of the First and Second World Wars. The SMLE you see there belongs to this fellow.....

Nice Piece. My first was a 1917, way back in 1982. My Father still has it and won't give it up. Says it's the most accurate rifle he has ever fired. I am astonished as he was a 5th Group Guy in Nam, and is Sniper qualified. Says alot about these great firearms. Congrats and enjoy....

She's a beauty. Hope she shoots as good as she looks.
Nice work with the model making too.

Calling TBone..... Here's a project that'd suit you down to the bone Tbone and be of interest to the rest of us too. Look at Drummerboys rifle and you'll see that the long ears of the front handguard are missing. Have you ever spliced in, glued, pegged a set and then made good? I did a set some years ago now. There must be zillions of front and rear handguards with the ears snapped off. It'd make a good illustrated thread. You're a meister at all things wood and taking pics to boot............. what about it. I'd do it but soooooo much to do and soooooo little time and my woodwork ain't not up to your standards it has to be said!
