So I can't spell, so what!!!

Dunkirk:The Great Escape by A.J. Barker 1977
ISBN 0 460 12020 4
Another excellent book on this subject with lots of photos + maps.Lots of records of ships involved in evacuation + of soldiers fighting in pockect. The number of troops evacuated(over 336 000)was a great achievment, leaving behind a few French troops + a handfull of B.E.F.soldiers.The authors epilogue talks of Hitlers lack of interest in invading England + how vulnerable they were to invasion even 2 months after the evacuation, even with the luftwaffe + german navy each having their own plans for an air drop + to establish a beachead which were dismissed by wehrmacht + not passed on to ole Adolf.
