    Worlds most beautiful Rifle

A M1903 is just the most beautiful and interesting piece of rifle one can own

(BTW - arranging the above picture took less time than putting all rounds back in their packages)

Great picture, Promo, but you can hardly see that M1903!

Now THIS is a great picture (pat myself on the back!!) of a M1903!!

I'll help pat you on the back for that one RTL. That was one of the best photos I'd ever seen. (Who helped you?)

The above picture was for a magazine article on this rifle. John Beardicon sort of helped me. However, he didn't like the photograph (of the former owner of the M1903 illustrated) and thought it should be on the other side. I sent the editor several pictures with the items moved around. I had to laugh when she picked the picture to use that John Beard didn't like! Different strokes....

Oh, did someone mention my (you know what)???

(My favorite afghan "story" was about the one guy who sold me a nice early M1903. One of the sales "conditions" was that I post a picture of the rifle on CSPicon with the afghan in the background! Talk about different strokes!!)

    I don't see a M1903 in Promo's pic. I do see part of a M1903A4.

To paraphrase a much better poet than I :

" What is in a name? that which we call a 1903 by any other name would look as nice . "

Didn't say that there's a M1903 in the picture (though there is one - you only see one part of it ), but originally also ment it's derivates and successors.

Rick, what a great looking early M1903.
