A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. That is if they got right at it to do the work. I doubt it's actually ever going to get completely cleared, like the WW1 battlefields.

I'd say that the Japaneseicon submarine pens in Singapore ?Blakang Mati and Palau Brani and further Notrh in Penang are still awash with large ordnance. There were teams of NZicon, Aust and RN divers trying to clear them into the 70's and still at it as I understand it

Update from the nephew apparently they removed the whole lot to another location to detonate it ?
Guess they have a spot where any escapee ordnance can be regathered and given another dose of semtex.

They use a pit so everything is down low and explosive drives it down. Here's an example from Iraq.

(37mm anti aircraft ammo, hard cartridge to find for collecting.)
