    Reproduction Front Barrel Band Source

Most of the reproduction 1A front barrel bands I see have the single spot weld on the top of the band. However, I have seen in pictures what appears to be a reproduction with the two spot welds. Who has the 1A reproduction 2 weld bands? I have one of the single weld reproductions and it does not fit the stock very well and the chance to find an original is.... Thanks for the help.

I see Nick has some on Ebay,
    M1 CARBINE REPRO 1 BARREL BAND type 1A - eBay (item 350187548286 end time Apr-13-09 10:11:26 PDT)

Ask him how many welds are on it.
Beware that most of this repro stuff.....won't fit like original parts.
Or by removing a later type bayo band........the barrel will show the wear of the later band.

    Good Luck

RH, I've gotten some from Numrich that fit right and look good that have 3 welds up top. They are the best I've seen and I believe that cost around $20-$25. HTH, Steve
