    Question Elbow telescope?

My father-in-law recently acquired this, but we're not sure what it is. A bit of Google research leads me to believe it's a scope that was used with an AA gun or some piece of artillery or something. But I'm not really sure what, exactly, it was used with. Any ideas?

I did a little research myself and found that it may had been designed for the T219 platoon antitank (PAT) 90-mm recoilless rifle. Pretty interesting artifact nonetheless. I just inherited a couple dozen boxes of stuff just like it so I spend my free time researching as much of it as I can.

Very interesting. And thank you for the link you PMed me. I found something that made it look like the T219 was one of the prototypes for the M67 recoilless rifle, but I'm not sure. The scope on the M67 looks very different from the scope I have. I'll have to look around some more to see if I can find any images of this scope on an actual weapon. Thanks for passing on the info!

No problem. Being new to collecting this kind of stuff makes this an excellent learning experience for me. I am a big fan of information.
