    Savage marked scope tin 0C6903

I have the above scope tin - an early BE Ltd 1941 dated tin. A Savage serial number 0C6903 is stenciled on the outside but no scope number.

I have recently acquired scope tin U33170, containing Mount U33170 and Mk. 3 scope 23969 (according to the label in the tin, this is evidently a completely matched set). If this matches your rifle, let's talk.
