Pre-War or WW2 Pistol Training Info?

Has anyone found any training films or manuals on-line for instruction on firing, handling, maintenance, etc. for the 1911/1911A1 or other pistols?

There is a CSPicon thread with such links for the Garandicon (links now appear to be defunct ). I am curious to see similar information for pistols.

    Thanks!!

    John
