    Recently purchased 1950 LB with serial numb 95L3225 with ungrooved hand gaurd and steel butt plate. Nagazine changed and bolt serial number different 95L7783. Rifle shoots fine its 5 grooved barrel.

    Marksman, the butt plate isn't steel, it is an alloy called zamakicon. Lack of brass to make butt plates.

    I have 26L4016. 1943 all matching serial numbers. 5 groove barrel. Small repair on butt stock but otherwise in very good order. I don't suppose anyone would have a correct sling for it?
