S&W .38 Navy Victory Revolver

I guess I'll have to see what I can find out about my Navy.....All I know is that it came via the prison system in Alabama.

Any idea what the value may be on the Navy issue?
I picked this one up in trade from a good friend, roughly a year ago.

They have been running around $450-$550 in this area.

I should also mention thet they recently passed the Castle Doctrine here too.

Since we are on the Victory Model subject , has anyone seen one with the Austrian Police ( Osterriech Poletzi in a circle on left side of frame ) stamp. It is the U.S.Property marked one with G.H.D. and bomb and is in 38 S&W instead of 38 S&W Special. It's in a local pawn shop with a price tag of $399.

I seen one late summer, while trying to find a Navy like mine.
Don't recall the asking price. Had it in my watch box on GB for a few weeks. It had been automatically relisted a few times.
