Two old milsurps

Hello all

A couple of questions on two old rifles I have . First 1916 mk3 Ross rifle .Stamps on butt stock 7 over either CC or CG over 507 all crossed out .Then Ross factory stamp , 111 4/97/17 over 1916 JC ( I know thats serial # ) .Stamps on bottom of wrist crown over 19 over crown over broad arrow over crown over 11 . Then 911 .
Next 22 Enfield . VR over Enfield over 1892 over 11 . Left side N over SHT over 22 . Top of barrel usual factory stamps with broad arrow 35 ( rebarreled in 1935 ? ) Still has long range volley sights . Small front sight ears looks like p14 . Anyone have any idea on the history of these two old girls ?
