Anybody have an opinions on the new remington 1911 R1

I know that some would say we don't need another 45 1911, but has anybody seen, shot or otherwise had any contact with the new Remington. I found it in my buddies gun shop the other day and fell in love with it immediately.
Curious to hear some comments from the experts, I am a newbie on this forum but an older experienced shooter and love the feel of the "old "time 45's

Oh. by the way, I bought it, and I love it.

First I've heard of such an animal! Let us know how it performs at the range.

    Thumbs up

Well I couldn't wait any longer. I went to the range today and shot some Winchester ball ammo through it, at 35 yards two hand grip I shot 5 inch steel plates with regularity and knocked them down with authority. I like this new Remington, real happy with it.
