Speaking of target sights...
I have a small problem with a couple of P-H sights. When I screw in the variable aperture (PH59) eyepiece it stops with the little adjusting wheel at six o'clock where I can't get at it. Does anyone have a neat trick to fix this? Tape in the threads maybe?

If it were me, I'd try a small o-ring over the threaded stem to limit the depth, maybe a brass washer if you find the right thickness. I have the same issue on mine ;^)

Little fiber washers come in all sorts of sizes and thicknesses and if you're almost spot on but not quite they will compress and allow just a bit more more turn. they also feel 'right' as you turn the pressure on, and they remain undo-able by finger at the end of a days shooting, important for me as I often switch my iris apertures and ph 60's across rifles during the day.
