Why is the barrel threaded at the muzzle?

    Interesting ...

The only other time I've ever seen anything else like that is on Swedishicon milsurps etc, where it's for a BFA....

Swedish BFA (Blank Firing Attachment) designed to be used with WOODEN bullets

    The following pics show ..........

That must be the special T that was intended for use in the SAS secret assasination attempt on Adolf Hitler. The threads are obviously for a suppressor.

I'm surprised such a unique rifle is listed so cheaply.

First time for me seeing a threaded muzzle on an Enfield like that. Hey, New Zealandicon and Englandicon allow suppressors as does the US...maybe it was suppressed at one time, after military service.

Threads are a bit fine for both the Maxim and PH sound moderator... Several rifles used a screw on launchers, such as the Mauser 954, which also used a VB type launcher as well. Screw on launchers were never successful due to fouling and corrosion in the threads......most of the threaded barrels we see in Canadaicon were on the Swedishicon Mausers and those were for the BFA. You will find a number of .22 rifles in Canada with threaded muzzles and those were imported from the UKicon and did indeed have "moderators" on them when in the UK.
