Called in yesterday, good day out, was against the clock but worth a visit plus the sound of the Spitfire roaring over head.... also a P51 mustang, the pics of these are not that good plus battery run out when in the Land warfare section plus history of The East Anglian Regiment, and no pics of the American Air Museum.
Dont know what the schedule is regarding the flying Aircraft but you are a lot closer than a Air show. Must admit the Flying Aircraft hanger is an eyeopener, some nice examples of Private owned aircraft that maintained here etc,
Lots more to see but on a final note, if them 60 Spitfires do get recovered from Burma wonder if there will be enough spares to get this engine to turn over again ?
