    I believe you will find that the scope base is a reproduction Redfield, not Leupold. (MHO just based on the pictures and the condition of the entire gun setup)
    On another related topic!
    If you decide you want the correct or as near correct as you will get barrel, I will trade you a brand new "still in the wrapper" Remington 03A3 barrel for the Smith Corona!
    That is if you can get it removed without any damage, and presuming that it has a pretty good bore!
