    The M1917 bayonet...with US markings. Eagle acceptance mark, US stamp...scabbard would have the belt hooks and be painted green likely. Joe Salter has a couple here...

    Another lesser known variant of the US M1917 bayonet was produced during the Vietnam war for use on the M1897 trench gun by Canadianicon Arsenals Ltd. (CAL). They have checkered plastic grips and a plastic rather than leather scabbard.
