    Thoughts on my Remington 1903A3?

    Hi all,
I was wondering if you all can provide your thoughts on this 1903A3 I recently acquired. Parts that look correct, incorrect, original, or re-arsenaled?
    Thanks.

No discernible RA stamp. Did all Remington's have an RA?

As far as I can tell, it looks original/correct to me.

Thanks for the reply. The info I find makes me think it's original. But the lack of a discernible RA stamp had me wondering - was it sanded, scraped off, maybe never got an RA stamp?

Early M1903A3 stocks only had the FJA and ordnance stamp - no RA; the RA was added about mid-1943. The stock also has stock pins - also used until about mid-1943, when they were replaced by stock bolts.

The upper band MAY be a replacement.
