    I think if that one could talk it would say "I sat forgotten in a depot until the war was over". Very nice looking rifle.

    IMHO, original slings are hard to find... expensive... and should be set aside/ preserved.

    If you are looking for a general "nice" knock about sling that looks authentic, I would go with "World War Supply" and see what he has. Generally he does real NICE reproductions. I have had real IFFY quality and actual items from IMA (International Military Antiques).
