Gil Boyd spurred this with his thread about the EM2...this is a weapon that I've always had an interest in and I've seen only one. That was in the old P.P.C.L.I. regimental museum in Calgary Alberta back in the 80's. It was hanging on the store room wall and would never see the light of day because it had no bearing on the Canadian service. It was missing the mag and had been donated by someone local, which begs the question of how it came to be there...

There was one that made it's way through here a decade or two ago . Guy had it on his table one show . Mint condition , one mag , sling. Asking $1,000 . Couple of shows later it was on another guy's table for $2,000 . Year later...another guy...$3,000 . Then $4,000 , then $5,000 . Then it disappeared . Should have bought it that first show. Just like that Jap Garand for $800.

Val Forgett of Navy Arms Company fame had a pile of them at his NCACA tables in Charlotte, NC in the early 90's when the bulk of them were imported back to the USA from England along with the L59, L39, L42, flare pistols, and No.4's which had just been surplused from Donnington. They were cheap too but I was more interested in the boxes and boxes of Inglis No.2Mk.1* pistols. I remember looking at them and pausing for a few seconds to ponder since I had only seen them in pictures up to that point. Should have bought a couple but…….. Hindsight is 20-15!!
