This weekend british show find ???

Hi guys set up at a big show this week end. didn't sell to much but got a fine mess of stuff to go thru. Had a yuppie couple ask me if i bought broken guns, an proceeded to show me a large metal cigar box with a H & R 922 inside that works but is missing 80% of its bluing. They said is was unsafe to shoot. rest of stuff inside box came with pistol. Looked at rest of items lots of zippos an some jewellery stuff. Wife made offer of 100.00 on whole box. Made them happy took there info for my log book. they left we were like two kids at xmas. found this lighter marked Australianicon COMMONW. MILITARY FORCES. V pin sterling. and some nazi pins. still tring to get all identified.

The V is a victory pin, civilian, and the stick pin is Germanicon WW2 veteran with an Iron Cross and wound badge. The black wound badge is just that, for one or two wounds or frostbite. Both of those are WW2. Nice lighter, Aussie hatbadge or collar on it, can't tell by the pic what size it is.

Nice, that would be the little paratrooper switchblade that went into the collar pocket on their M42 jump jacket...there's guys here that collect those by themselves, there's so many variants...like the Germanicon equivalent.

I think your lighter bears the collar badge. There's a few Aussies here that may come up on this as it's a nice little piece. Must be a US item though, it has a US patent number and it's a Premo lighter...someone will know.
    Regards, Jim
